Hey there. My name is Dan Hylock. I am a blogger. A professional blogger that is.
I used to be just like you. I worked a full time job, sometimes more than 1 job just to make ends meet. One day I found a job with a fortune 10 company (yes, you’ve heard of them), and I was set for life. No, I wasn’t rich, but I was in my 20’s making far more money than I ever thought possible for myself at that age and no college education.
Then one day I was squashed like a bug. The economy had finally taken it’s toll. I was laid off!
So, after some sulking and crying and feeling sorry for myself, I went on the job hunt. Found a job, 2 years later, BAM! Same thing, laid off again!
Laid off twice in the span of a little over 2 years.
That’s when I knew things had to change.
So I started doing research on ways to make some extra money to supplement what I was earning at my job. I was so fearful that I would lose my job again, I didn’t want my income to be completely dependent on my job.
